We're building the fairest way to book a mechanic in the UK.
Independent mechanics are the backbone of car repair in this country. Many are brilliant at the job but lose a big slice of every booking to platforms that charge a percentage. We think that's backwards.
MyLocalMechanic was started by Vern Louw with a simple idea: charge mechanics a flat £5.00 per completed job, nothing more, and give drivers a fixed, honest price up front. Mechanics keep what they earn, and customers get good work at a fair price.
What we believe

- Reviews should come only from real, completed jobs.
