About this job
Clean oil is the cheapest way to protect your engine. Your mechanic drains the old oil, fits a new filter, refills with the correct grade and resets the oil-change reminder where possible. Old oil is taken away and disposed of properly.

How long does oil and filter change take?
Usually 45 minutes. Your mechanic will tell you if your car needs longer.
Can it be done at my home?
In most cases, yes. Mobile mechanics need a safe, level place to park, such as a driveway or quiet street. If your job needs a workshop we'll let you know before you pay anything.
Is the price fixed?
Yes. The price on your quote is what you pay. If the mechanic finds something else, they'll explain it and give you a separate price – nothing extra is done without your OK.
